How do we select the cables?
Usually this depends on your requirement. We provide all types of cabling services from Cat5, Cat6 to Cat7 cables. The general difference between Cat5e cabling and Cat6 cabling is in the transmission performance, and extension of the available bandwidth from 100 MHz for category 5e to 250 MHz for category 6. The main difference in the cables is reduced “crosstalk” and faster speeds in the transferring of data and connection
What kind of wi-fi solution can be used?

How should the Access Point be mounted for optimum coverage?
It is advised that Access Points are placed overhead with 1m of clear space surrounding each one. Wall mounting is another option however this is based on application. Avoid front and/or rear wall mounting as shadows can be troublesome. Ceiling mounts can be provided that do not interfere with the signal but will conceal the presence of the Access Point.

How is an optical power meter different from an OTDR?
A fibre optic power meter calculates the amount of power coming out of a fibre. When used with a test source, it can be used to calculate the end-to-end loss of a fibre optic cable or installed cable plant.
OTDRs work like "optical radar" to detect faults in cables, calculate length or test loss of splices in cables. They are deployed for troubleshooting or for documentation of outside plant cables that have splices (splicing is not frequently used in premises cabling.)
What are the different kinds of fibre optic connectors available in the market?
The common kind of fibre optic connectors are ST, SC, FC/PC, FC/APC, and LC. The most accepted connector is LC because of its high performance, small size, and can be used effortlessly.
Do you charge for an initial survey?
Initial surveys and site visits in Bangalore are free as are introductory meetings for design. However, visits to explore faults etc. that require an engineer are charged at call out rates
How can OM5 cover my bandwidth needs?
OM5 cabling was developed to benefit the data centre and to reach the bandwidth challenges. OM5 fiber is reformed for short division multiplexing and assists at least four wavelengths in the 850-950nm range.
